Where community, food and stories meet.
Salem NH Farmers Market Adds Marian Ead to Board as Outdoor Season Approaches
As the Salem NH Farmers Market prepares to transition outdoors for the summer season, we’re pleased to welcome Marian Ead to the Board of Directors who joins as the market readies to move outdoors for its 16th summer season.
“On behalf of the Salem NH Farmers Market, I’m excited to welcome Marian Ead to the board,” said Emily Samatis, president of the board of directors. “Her passion for supporting local farmers, vendors and community connections aligns closely with our mission, and we look forward to working together to continue strengthening the market.”
Marian brings a genuine appreciation for the role farmers markets play in supporting healthier lifestyles and building community. She values the opportunity to connect with local vendors who offer fresh locally grown and produced foods, homemade goods and thoughtfully crafted products.
“For many of the vendors, their business is a labor of love and a commitment to healthier living,” Marian shares. “Supporting the vendors is the best way to keep their products coming our way.” A fan of Fabian’s European Pastries, Marian especially enjoys the authentic flavors and quality that bring a taste of Europe to the Market.
As she steps into her role, Marian looks forward to learning more about the market’s operations and logistics; getting to know vendors on a deeper level; and connecting with the customers who make the market such a vibrant and welcoming place.
“It is my hope that my contribution as a board member will make a positive difference,” she adds.
We’re excited to have Marian join the board and look forward to the perspective and energy she brings to the season ahead.
Open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Winter Market is held at the Mary A. Fisk Elementary School in Salem through April. The Summer Market moves outdoors to The Mall at Rockingham Park beginning in May.
