The Salem NH Farmers Market is governed by an all-volunteer working Board of Directors, comprised of members of the Greater Salem community who are committed to the mission of the farmers market and have a passion for supporting local farmers and artisans.

We’re always looking for others who also share this passion and want to help lead the market and drive it toward continued success in our community.

Open Position:

The Salem NH Farmers Market (SNHFM) — ranked the #1 farmers market in New Hampshire by America’s Farmers Market Celebration for three consecutive years and one of the state’s few year-round markets — is seeking an enthusiastic new member for its Board of Directors. We’re looking for someone who loves local food, believes in the power of community markets and will proudly champion our mission. Board members help raise public awareness, attend biweekly Zoom meetings, help oversee market operations and volunteers a Market Day roughly once every six weeks. Terms are two years, with the ability to serve up to two consecutive terms.

A passion for locally grown and produced food is essential. Experience with IT infrastructure (such as SSL certificates, email account management, or general web architecture) is a welcomed bonus.

Held every Sunday, the Winter Market (Nov.-Apr.) is from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Fisk School (14 Main Street) and the Summer Market (May-Oct.) is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. outdoors next to The Field at DICK’S House of Sport at The Mall at Rockingham Park.
